Wenzhou Union School for Children of Foreign Personnel, also called Wenzhou Union International School (WUIS), is one of the key programs endorsed by Wenzhou Municipal People’s Government in order to enhance Wenzhou’s business environment, advance international cooperation and exchanges, and create a friendly atmosphere for talents. The school was approved by the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province and registered in Zhejiang Civil Affairs Bureau.

What’s Special

As the only school in the city to offer foreign curricula at the primary and secondary level, WUIS aims at quality international education for children of foreign expatriates, overseas Chinese, and citizens of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

The Core Program

The school offers English, Social Studies, Maths, Science, PE, Music, Chinese, Language Support, Art/Drama/Music/IT. The programs are founded on the Hierarchy of Learning Strategies for Highly Effective Teaching (Visible Learning Classroom).
