It offers audience countless excellent operas and musicals every year, including a number of orchestra programs. From Baroque art to modern pieces, its repertoire covers all schools like opera, operette, musicals and ballet. The orchestra is composed of 77 performers and is promoted to an A-class orchestra in 2003. For many years, the orchestra has staged fantastic shows in various orchestra concerts and concerts for stage works. In the years of 2006, 2008 and 2012, the orchestra hosted the performances of “Guttne square open-air concert” series. In addition, since 2000, musicians from the orchestra have planned serial activities of chamber concert in Munich city museums and given away performances around Germany and the world. Since the establishment of the orchestra, it has cooperated with numerous well-known conductors and musicians. Composer Millock once joined the orchestra to show his works and such chief conductors as Wolfgang Lennart, Lentz Alex and David Stahl once cooperated with the orchestra. |
