He has been actively participating in big jazz music festivals all year around, and has taught at New York University, Columbia University, William Paterson University of New Jersey, the New School in New York and Vermont Jazz Center. During his 20-year acting career, Jed is nicknamed as “Pillar” in the circle of jazz music in New York. Misha Tsiganov (Jazz Pianist) Born in a musical family in St Petersburg, Russia, Mischa began to practice the piano at 6, and graduated from Mussorgsky Conservatory of Music, From 1999 to 2002, he dubbed with jazz piano for Little Bill, a series cartoon film by Cosby Bill who is an Emmy Winner and a great comedy master. His album Chikanov Brothers, recorded together with his brother and a harmonica player Aleksi Spyakin, was a hit in the jazz music field. Alvester Garnett (percussionist) In the jazz field, he is a passionate and energetic Jack of all trades! He is a member of Benny Carter’s and Abbey Lincoln’s band, and a member of Sipes Chesnut’s Trio. Meanwhile, he is the most active jazz educator in the U.S. and the lecturer for “All Star” jazz masters’ class. Thomas Nederland (bassist and composer) Thomas’ album Mazurka for Contemporary People makes his Quintet a symbol in New York music circle. He performed at Kennedy Center and Columbia Midlands College, and showed actively in various jazz carnivals such as Toronto Jazz Festival, Australia Perth Jazz Festival and Vancouver Jazz Festival. |
