Juyi Shoe Factory, the predecessor of Juyi Group Co.,Ltd., was created in 1988 and the Group was formally established in 1995. Juyi Group has now become a non-regional enterprise group with more than 3800 employees involved in businesses including shoemaking, real estate, foreign trade, hotels, entertainment, and network technology. In 2008, the Group’s total sales revenue amounted to 2.3 billion yuan including the output of the shoe company exceeding 1.3 billion yuan. The Group’s export value was up to 71.88 million U. S. dollars, topping the list of footwear exporters in Zhejiang Province. In its main business field, the Group has a Juyi shoe manufacturing base located at No.2, Tengfei Road, China Shoe Capital Industrial Park, covering an area of nearly 100 mu with the building area of 100,000 square meters. With 16 advanced shoe production lines imported from Italy, Taiwan and other countries and regions, Juyi has the annual production capacity of 12 million pairs, which are sold in countries including Germany, France, the United States, Spain, Russia, Japan and China. Juyi Group is the first private enterprise in Wenzhou to hire overseas professional managers as the company’s executives. Juyi is also actively seeking to work with international standards in product research and development and technological innovation. Since in 2001, the company has invited top designers from Western European countries to develop up-to-date Juyi products, and thus keeping a leading position in the development of new varieties. Moreover, Juyi established a standardized laboratory to ensure product quality. In 2002, through cooperation with renowned foreign companies, Juyi realized the upgrading and improvement by learning from the international advanced players. In 2004, Juyi passed the SA8000 Social Accountability International Standard certification, and met the international standards in employment environment, labor rights protection, environmental protection etc., and thus breaking the trade barriers to pave the way for the international market. Juyi has also obtained the certificates of ISO9001 and ISO14001. Since Juyi won the right to export and import in 1999, it has been awarded “An enterprise of Contract Conformity” by the National Industrial and Commercial Administration Bureau” and rated as “Financial Credit AAA Level” enterprises for consecutive years. “Juyi” brand shoes were awarded “China’s King of Genuine Leather Shoes” and “Zhejiang Famous Brand” products. “Juyi” Brand was named a “Zhejiang Famous Brand” and a “China’s Well-known Trademark”. Juyi won honorary titles including “China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises”, “Inspection-exempted Product”, “AA Level Customs Service Management Enterprises”, “Key Export Brands Cultivated and Developed in Zhejiang Province”, “Top 100 Enterprises in Wenzhou”, “Top 20 Manufacturing Enterprises in Terms of Export in Wenzhou”, and “Top 100 Tax Payers in Wenzhou”.
