Taishun Puppet Show, in intimate connection with Wenzhou Southern Opera, belongs to Wenzhou Oceanic Culture and acts as an integral part of Ouyue Culture.

The show is mainly constituted by simple string puppets, in which 4-5 performers could create an opera team, easy to gain support and give tour performance. Furthermore, the meaning and language embedded in puppet show are intelligible, so such a kind of show is well-recognized by common people.
