In recent years, the investment in the project has reached 8 billion yuan. Longwan Gas Turbine Power Plant and the No.3  and 4 generating units of the second-phase project of  Wenzhou Power Plant are constructed. The Shanxi water-control project, with the total investment of 4.1 billion yuan, is the biggest investment project  with foreign funds in Zhejiang Province. Its No.1 and 2 generating units and the two generating units at Zhaoshandu had been successfully completed and put in operation at the end of 2000.
